In 2005, we extended our charitable activity to become Patrons of The Prince’s Trust and have committed £100,000 to support this important youth charity.
Following the creation of our own Trust, The Prince's Trust and its practical support of disadvantaged young people was a natural next step for us.
The Davis Group is also a founding member of the Insurance Leadership Group (ILG). This unique forum of insurance industry leaders has been drawn together to generate further income and support for The Prince's Trust within the insurance industry.
By February 2007, the ILG Patrons & Members had donated &/or pledged over£2 million in support of the Trust - and now aims to increase this to over £3 million by the end of 2007. The money raised so far will provide support for over 2000 young people!
In addition to fundraising, the ILG will support the Trust in key policy areas relating to the insurance industry. Their goals include working with offenders and ex-offenders and providing insurance solutions for young entrepreneurs during the vital stages of developing their business.
